This year Olivia *did not* cry. :) She was a little tentative, but was overall excited about the situation. Abigail had a great conversation with Santa and let him know about the secret surprise she has for him when he comes to visit (very sweet).

Congratulations Lt. Col. Lawrence "Gordo" Sullivan

A few students in Larry's SAASS class were promoted to Lt. Col. on 1 November. They had a simple, yet very meaningful ceremony, which is a time-honored tradition in the Air Force. The ceremony was officiated by a Marine Corps colleague, and the oath given by a former Vietnam POW and fighter pilot. From the top: 1. Olivia hearts Thucydides. That's Larry's SAASS cube...very organized. :) 2. Abigail and Olivia walk their Dad into the auditorium - so proud. 3. The new promotees take the oath of office.
